Lypossage reduces unwanted fat deposits - As we
age, tissues in certain parts of your bodies breakdown, particularly the layers
of fat and connective tissue in the buttocks, thighs and abdomen. Dieting
and weight loss won't necessarily decrease cellulite, but Lypossage which is a
combination of deep-tissue manipulation, lymphatic drainage and principles of
structural integration can help to reduce water retention and break-up fat
pockets that can contribute to the dimpled, uneven appearance of
cellulite. Lypossage also tones the muscles, lifting and firming sagging
skin.
Hands-on Vs. Machine - Is Lypossage the same as
Endermologie? Yes and no. The effect on dimension change and
cellulite reduction can be the same. But Lypossage, which works through an
extremely precise combination of deep-tissue and lymphatic-drainage modalities,
offers the added benefit of structural integration-type results. Lypossage
strokes are more structurally based than the typical massage. Lypossage,
its practical application can be described as somewhere between Rolfing,
structural integration and myofascial release. Lypossage can be an
alternative to liposuction
Zone 1 - Hips and thighs mainly
Zone 2- Stomach, chest and upper arms
Zone 3 - Face and neck area - concentrates on the lymph system
with special focus on Deep Tissue Massage on the head and neck area. It is
not unusual for a client receiving this kind of work to experience a
"natural face lift" This is very specific and deep work on all
the face muscles-bringing elasticity into the skin, fascia and muscle.
Actual work takes 30 minutes and a package of 18 treatments with
a schedule of 3 - 2x a week for eight/nine weeks is recommended.
