CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of detecting
and releasing restrictions in the craniosacral system that surrounds the brain
and spinal cord. Correcting these imbalances can help alleviate a full
range of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunction. This work encourages
your own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of
stress on your central nervous system.
Craniosacral Therapy is performed on a
person fully clothed. Using a light touch - generally no more than
the weight of a nickel - I monitor the rhythm of the craniosacral system
to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. I then use
delicate manual techniques to release those problem areas and relieve
undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord. I can perform this
treatment alone or in conjunction with other therapeutic procedures.
CranioSacral Therapy strengthens your

Developed by Dr. John Upledger, this very soft-touch hands-on
therapeutic approach involves the enhancement of natural bodily function.
The important thing it does is enhance fluid movement through every cell in the
body.
Despite its name, in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, every area of the body is
worked on - not just the head and sacrum. This is unlike almost
anything you may have experience before, but you will benefit by having
a nervous system free of restrictions and a body that's able to perform
at its greatest level of performance.
